SCRIPT

Scuttle:

SCUTTLE: Oh! Oh! Look at this. Wow - this is special - this is very, very unusual.

SCUTTLE: It's a dinglehopper! Humans use these little babies... to straighten their hair out.

SCUTTLE: See - just a little twirl here an' a yank there and - voilee!

King Triton:

TRITON: Ariel, you know that! Everyone knows that!

TRITON: One less human to worry about!

TRITON: Know him? I don't have to know him. They're all the same. Spineless, savage, harpooning, fish-eaters, incapable of any feeling-

TRITON: (horrified) No..

Ursula:

"Yeeeeeees, hurry home, princess. We wouldn't want to miss old daddy's celebration, now, would we?

Huh! Celebration indeed. Bah! In MY day, we had fantastical feasts when I lived in the palace.

Ariel

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Have you ever seen anything so wonderful in your entire life,

I don't know. But I bet Scuttle will. (Puts fork in bag.)

Voice Parts For Tryouts

All skaters participating in the show must try out, EXCEPT for the Aspire skaters who selected Option A. If you are not available for tryouts please contact a director for alternative options.

Auditions are your time to show the casting committee your best interpretation of the music and skating skills. Tryouts will be for the leading roles and ensemble roles of the production. All character parts are adapted from the movie. Characters will maintain some personality traits, but the storyline and roles will be adapted to match the demographics of our skaters/cast. Character roles will be awarded based on skating skills, showmanship and the overall “Wow Factor” displayed when performing!

For Tryouts:

This year's tryouts will include learning lines and lip syncing to voices from the movie. Voice parts will be available two weeks prior to auditions.

Please dress in all black skating attire and have hair pulled back into a ponytail or bun.

Do NOT dress as a specific character from the show.

You do not need to prepare anything in advance.
