The Figure Skating Club of Park City holds monthly board meetings - usually on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Check the calendar for time and place. Active members in good standing of Park City Figure Skating Club are welcome to attend board meetings.

The below roles must be filled by a member of the FSCPC Board of Directors.

PRESIDENT* -- Liz Williams

  • File all business licenses, insurance, and act as first point of contact for all club matters.
  • Create agenda for board meetings
  • Run monthly board meetings
  • Oversee and co-sign on financial accounts and decisions
  • Make sure taxes are filed in proper time
  • Assist all board members as needed in there assignments and roles
  • Attend/and or find delegates for USFS Governing Council
  • Run annual meeting/spring banquet

VICE PRESIDENT* -- Angie Lampert

  • Assist the President with duties as assigned.
  • Act as President if President is unavailable.

SECRETARY* -- Lara Latham

  • Reserve room (or sends out Zoom) for Board meetings
  • Distribute final board meeting agenda and consent agenda
  • Records and distributes minutes for all Board meetings capturing actions and key dates. 
  • Posts board meeting minutes Sports Engine
  • Input volunteer hours of board members from board meetings
  • Creates and posts Board Updates, sends club emails and supports all communication needs
  • Manages club calendar

FUNDRAISING & COMMUNITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE CHAIR -- Angie Lampert

  • Oversee all Fundraising activity for the Club, including "eat out nights", item sales and JWW. 
  • Ensure resources are identified for JANS Winter Welcome (JWW) - including assigning a Coordinator, ticket sales lead, basket donations and volunteers.
  • Serve as the Club YSA Liaison, attending meetings and responding to requests. 
  • Coordinate FSCPC involvement in community events such as 4th of July Parade, Winter Parade, Olympic & Paralympic Parade.

WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR -- Elena Patel

  • Creates teams (e.g. Park City Icing, FSCPC Members), rosters members as appropriate and manages Sports Engine permissions
  • Creates all monetary and non-monetary registrations
  • Creates special pages (spring show, holiday show) for specific event communications
  • Updates club homepage with relevant content and supports Secretary with club communications
  • Set up the DIBS system yearly (which tracks volunteering)

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE CHAIR -- San San Wu Reynolds

  • Creates teams (e.g. Park City Icing, FSCPC Members), rosters members as appropriate and manages Sports Engine permissions
  • Creates all monetary and non-monetary registrations
  • Creates special pages (spring show, holiday show) for specific event communications
  • Updates club homepage with relevant content and supports Secretary with club communications

COACHES LIAISON -- Erika Roberts

  • Communicates Board and Club activities and decisions to all coaches
  • Acts as a coach representative in Board meetings
  • Gathers agenda items from coaches
  • Gathers data (when needed) for Sports Engine registrations from coaching team

TREASURER* -- Amanda Brady

  • Principal financial officer of the Club. 
  • Preparing annual budget and monthly financial reports, including quarterly financials for the Board. 
  • Financial analysis on the budget considering upcoming expenses, consultation on fund projection, completing specific financial report requests, and run reports when needed
  • Manage all banking accounts
  • Manage relationships with bookkeeper and ensure all transactions are recorded in QuickBooks
  • Responsible for working with accountant to file taxes
  • Recommends allocation of spending for operational and non-operational costs.
  • Receive and process YSA and other Scholarships, Awards and Grants

MEMBERSHIP CHAIR -- LARA LATHAM

  • Manages the Club Membership process, including annual Club renewal of USFS memberships and any mid-year membership additions or transfers.
  • Annual renewal includes issuing frequent communication and reminders. 
  • Sends welcome email to new members

SKATESAFE COORDINATOR - Liz Williams

  • Responsible for the implementation and coordination of the U.S. Figure Skating SkateSafe Program within our Club.
  • Be familiar with the SkateSafe document and complete the SafeSport training
  • Ensure volunteers with athlete contact have met compliance requirements 
  • Serve as the primary contact for USFS and oversee the implementation of effective educational programs for all members, their parents/guardians and coaches, as provided by USFS
  • Verify all coaches participating in all club and U.S. Figure Skating events and activities are compliant per USFSA rules.
  • Act as the point person if anything arose in the Club vis a vis sexual harassment, bullying, hazing, physical or mental abuse involving coaches, athletes, parents, or volunteers. Refer all reports of a violation of the SkateSafe Policies directly to the appropriate USFSA committee.
  • Participate in workshops/webinars as provided by U.S. Figure Skating, collect and share information about the SkaeSafe program and disseminate information on best practices.

JUNIOR BOARD LIAISON -- Erika Roberts

  • Assist the Junior Board with all planning and administration, including elections, meetings, seasonal activities, fundraisers, community service, etc. 
  • Ensure Jr. Board remains in compliance with guidelines as established by FSCPC Board of Directors
  • Provide regular updates to the FSCPC Board regarding Jr. Board proposed activities.
  • Facilitate communication and requests between the Jr. Board and FSCPC Board of Directors. 

CLUB COMMITTEE CHAIRS & PROGRAM ROLES (2024-25)

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR -- Dannan Siano

  • Works with all Committee and Program Chairs to capture volunteer needs for events. 
  • Identifies a dedicated volunteer coordinator for each event to ensure sufficient volunteers are recruited, confirmed and available. 
  • Work with project chairs and website admin to get volunteer needs into the DIBS system.
  • Tracks completion of volunteer assignments in the DIBS system.
  • Monitors completion of volunteer requirements and periodically updates members on the status.

TEST SESSION COMMITTEE CHAIR -- Margaret Baldwin

  • Secure test date ice time.
  • Find judges who are available for the test.
  • Open test session on Entreeyz 45 days prior to the test session.
  • Register all test with USFSA.
  • Create test schedule.
  • Run test session.
  • Enter all results with USFSA.
  • Enter all IJS test protocols with USFSA throughout the year.

JWW COORDINATOR -- Angie Lampert

  • Oversee all fundraising for the event
  • Contacting local companies for donations (a list of companies that already donate to the club will be provided)
  • Encouraged to reach out to own contacts
  • Attend JWW meetings monthly starting in June at the YSA offices
  • Collect all donations and deliver them to YSA by mid-September
  • Help organize volunteers for through YSA for the evening of the event
  • Work the evening of the event
  • Send thank you notes to all donors

SPRING SHOW COMMITTEE CHAIRS - Taylor Knight & Emily Boyd

  • Work alongside and coordinate with show directors with every step of the show process.
  • Coordinate judging and timing for tryouts.
  • Make or get volunteers to make all props, order and fit all costumes, Schedule lighting, get members reimbursed for all personal finance input, be available with props ready for all rehearsals (especially dress and technical).
  • Must be creative but flexible to accommodate last-minute changes. Creative outlook and ability is extremely helpful.
  • Must be able to work within a budget.

COMPETITION COMMITTEE CHAIR - Liz Williams

  • Oversee Competition Committee to plan all aspects of FSCPC-sponsored competitions including the following:
  • Responsible for recruiting the referee, accountant, announcer, and judges.
  • Arrange all travel and housing needs for referee, accountant, announcer, and judges.
  • Work with Park City Ice Arena to reserve ice and communicate schedule for ice makes.
  • Purchase judges gifts and appointment a volunteer to manage officials hospitality, including accommodations for food allergies, blankets for cold rink, etc…
  • Assemble goody bags for registered skaters.
  • Work with volunteer coordinator to get all volunteering needs met.
  • Obtain a photographer and vendors for the event.
  • Create the competition announcement required to get the competition sanctioned by USFS.
  • Create competition programs
  • Use the Entryeeze system for setting up the competition events and practice ice. Compile playlists for each event from digital music uploaded to Entryeeze.

COACHES LIAISON -- Erika Roberts

  • Communicates Board and Club activities and decisions to all coaches
  • Acts as a coach representative in Board meetings
  • Gathers agenda items from coaches
  • Gathers data (when needed) for Sports Engine registrations from coaching team

SUNSHINE & SKATER RECOGNITION COMMITTEE CHAIR - Sitinee Sheffert

  • Provides support to any Club member who has experienced loss or is unable to participate fully due to medical conditions or injury
  • Helps new members with questions they have about the Club or the sport
  • Responsible for planning and organizing all club parties and recognition events, according to the Handbook.
  • Orders Club Competitive jackets.
  • Works with Volunteer Coordinator to get party volunteer requirements met.
  • Responsible for managing changes or amendments to Skater Recognition Policy and advancing to Board for approval.

CLUB ICE COORDINATOR -- Sara Simonsen

  • Find and train volunteers to track club ice attendance for all club ice sessions.
  • Collaborate w/ volunteer coordinator to get their hours in the DIBS system.
  • Email skaters when their punch cards are low.
  • Check the system weekly to make sure punches have not been double entered.
  • Add new skaters to the punch card system as necessary.
  • Ensure volunteers understand club ice policy.

JWW RAFFLE TICKETS - OPEN

  • Communicate to the club about details, expectations and results of JWW raffle ticket sales.
  • Help oversee distribution, sales and communication to the club of the opportunity drawing tickets

HOLIDAY SHOW COMMITTEE -- Liz Williams

  • Assist the Junior Board with all planning and administration, including elections, meetings, seasonal activities, fundraisers, community service, etc. 
  • Ensure Jr. Board remains in compliance with guidelines as established by FSCPC Board of Directors
  • Provide regular updates to the FSCPC Board regarding Jr. Board proposed activities.
  • Facilitate communication and requests between the Jr. Board and FSCPC Board of Directors. 

SPRING BANQUET COMMITTEE -- OPEN

  • Oversee Committee to plan all aspects of the Spring Banquet, including venue, catering, decorations, AV requirements, and skater and coach gifts. 
  • Ensure Banquet cost remains within allocated budget, as determined by the Board of Directors.
  • Work with coaches and Jr. Board to plan skater recognition that is inclusive of all skaters at all levels
  • Work with coaches and Board President to create event program.
  • Work with website administrator to set up registration, RSVPs and collect money for event.
  • Ensure sufficient volunteers for set up and clean up and any day-of support.

INTERMOUNTAIN INTERCLUB REPRESENTATIVE -- Erika Roberts

  • Attend Intermountain Interclub board meetings.
  • Communicate IIA calendar, event, and issues to the FSCPC board and coaches.

SOCIAL MEDIA & PUBLIC RELATIONS -- Erika Roberts

  • Manages all social media (facebook, instagram, etc…)
  • Composes a monthly newsletter with club events and announcements.
